“ Perla's is a great place to get tacos. The price is very good and it is kind of hidden away out of sight. I've been driving by for years and I had no idea they were back there. Best item is their Pollo Mole Rojo. The mole sauce is delicious. At $10.99 a plate it's the best deal in town. ”
“ Perla's is truly a hole in the wall. So much so that I had a hard time finding it as it's tucked and hidden in a little corner. Their menu has a lot of items, and along with that they have lots of specials that are hand written or on a list stuck on a wall. There are a good amount of tables inside and a few outside. It was hard to resist agua frescas over here so I went with the watermelon and pineapple flavored drinks. The portion was huge and tasted very nice and home made. For the entrees I saw that they had a Red Mole with chicken on their specials list so that was definitely one of the items to get, and I also had ordered a carnitas plate. Both items came with tortillas, rice and beans. The chicken for the mole was so tender and flavorful it was just amazing! Great spice levels and authenticity with the mole as well. The carnitas was really good too as it came with a very nice and delicious side of guacamole. When it comes to authentic, this is the place to go even if it's not the prettiest place. ”
“ Best tacos I've had so far in my life. While other places charge 20$ for 2 tacos and rice and beans, here you can get 8-10 tacos for 20$. I just get carne asada soft tacos and one crunchy taco and it is great everytime. The people who serve and work cashier are also very nice. ”
“ Found this spot years ago when I first moved to the area while searching for a good Mexican restaurant. No other Mexican restaurants in this area compare to this one. None of that bland, tasteless Mexican food. Tastes just like the Mexican food I used get when I lived in LA. Litto hole in the wall spot, if you know you know. Have been getting lunch with my coworkers here almost weekly ever since I found this spot. Food is great, prices are very low and quick service. Gets crowded during lunch hours and parking lot is smol. Had to take a pic of their menu cuz they don't have their full menu posted anywhere! ”
“ I went here on taco Tuesday recently and tried the carnitas and carne asada tacos. The prices were pretty good and the tacos tasted good, but a little small. The service was fine and the people were nice. It was a busy atmosphere for Tuesday. If the tacos were a little bigger and the tortillas a little better it would be great but still not a bad spot for taco Tuesday for the area. ”
